Frequently Asked Questions
The Warranty
Any individual customer who purchased a product from DALERY less than 2 years ago is eligible for the warranty.
To process your request, proof of purchase and photos of the identified defect will be required.
Your product has a 2-year warranty.
This covers any manufacturing or conformity defects, but does not apply to normal wear and tear of the product, improper use, accidents, or lack of maintenance.
To make a warranty claim, please have any documents available that can help locate your purchase: receipt, invoice, or, failing that, your full name, the date of purchase, and the store concerned.
The more precise the information provided, the faster your request will be processed.
Once your complete request has been received, our teams will analyze your file to verify that the warranty is applicable and that the noted defect is covered. We will provide you with an answer as soon as possible.
If your item is repairable, you may either drop it off at the DALERY boutique of your choice, which will handle its shipment to our workshop, or send it directly to our repair center.
Product care
To clean the inside of your bag or suitcase, remove dust and debris using a low-power vacuum cleaner or a soft brush. For stains, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water and let it air dry. Avoid harsh detergents, solvents, and excessive water, which could damage the materials or linings.
Most of our bags and luggage are designed to withstand occasional exposure
to moisture or light rain. However, they are not waterproof and should not be submerged or exposed to water for extended periods.
To preserve your product, we recommend protecting it from heavy rain
and letting it air dry if it becomes damp.
For leather bags, we recommend applying a suitable waterproofing spray to better protect them against moisture and stains.
We strongly advise against machine washing, which can damage the materials, linings, zippers, wheels, handles, or structural elements of your bag or luggage.
To care for your product, please clean it by hand using a soft, slightly damp cloth and products suitable for the specific material.
Baggage FAQ
Choosing a suitcase mainly depends on the length of your stay.
For a weekend or a short trip, a carry-on suitcase is usually sufficient.
For a one-week stay, a medium-sized suitcase (60 cm) is generally recommended. It offers enough space for clothes, shoes, and accessories while remaining easy to
transport.
For a trip of more than two weeks, a large checked suitcase (70 cm) is more suitable. It offers significant capacity for carrying clothes, accessories, and souvenirs.
Whatever the nature of your trip and your destination, you will find the ideal luggage at DALERY.
A carry-on suitcase can be taken with you on the plane provided it complies with the dimensions authorized by the airline. A checked suitcase is checked in before boarding and offers a greater storage capacity. To help you with your choice, some of our luggage items feature a logo representing an airplane. However, as rules can vary by airline and change at any time, we recommend that you always check the authorized dimensions with your carrier before your departure.
Each airline applies its own dimensions and restrictions. Before your departure, it is recommended that you consult your airline's conditions of carriage to verify the compliance of your carry-on luggage.
An elegant, lightweight, and easy-to-carry cabin suitcase is generally preferred for business trips.

Yes, DALERY offers carry-on and checked luggage designed to meet travelers' needs and withstand normal use during air travel. However, it is recommended to check the dimensions allowed by your airline before departure.
Like all suitcases, they are not designed to withstand violent handling or abnormally heavy impacts that may occur during baggage transport. We advise you to check the condition of your luggage as soon as it is returned to you and to report any damage immediately to the airline concerned.
A hardside suitcase provides better protection for its contents against impacts and moisture. A softside suitcase often offers more
storage flexibility thanks to its exterior pockets. The choice depends on your
travel habits.
To optimize space:
- Roll your clothes instead of folding them.
- Use packing cubes.
- Place heavy items at the bottom of the suitcase.
- Distribute the weight evenly.
The TSA lock allows security services in certain countries to inspect your luggage without damaging it.
It is particularly recommended for international travel.
Several DALERY models are equipped with this technology.
A quality suitcase can accompany its
owner for many years. Its lifespan depends on the
frequency of use, transport conditions, and its maintenance.
